I have no issue with people coming to this country to escape the troubles of their own country. Most of us are descendants of immigrations. However, times have changed in 2026. A friend of mine (unnamed) is a truck driver. He's your typical blue collar guy. He said if you knew who how unsafe the roadways were you're never drive on the free again. He said he recently stopped a Petro gas station on Salt Springs in Ohio (major truck stop). He gets foot from a foreign food cart there. He said there wasn't one "stereotypical" truck driver that came over. Parts of Africa, Pakistan, India, Serbian and they're driving illegally by swapping DOT stickers. 60 minutes recently did a story on this.
To me this is a shame. Semi trucks aren't like flipping burgers at McDonalds they 70-80 mph death traps and if there is truth to this story shame on whoever is behind and facilitating it. This goes above politics. This about two lanes we all share at high speeds with people that shouldn't be behind that truck wheel.
